Relaxation/Beginner: The perfect class to learn to relax and breathe properly. Welcome beginner and continuing students for mental relaxation and physical wellness. Great for learning to stretch deep muscles and soft tissues.
Beginner Strength: Entry level yoga classes with options for everyone! In addition to relaxing and breathing, poses will be offered that allow you to add a strengthening element if you choose.
Yoga for Strength: Come and experience flowing asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing). This class is focused on Shambhava Hatha yoga. A challenge for the physical, mental and spiritual self. Natural heat generating through movement flushes out toxins and develops external form and strength. The use of the breath to connect the postures requires an intense mental focus. Learn the Sanskrit names also to all the poses too. Room will be extra warmed in cooler weather!!
Yoga for Everyone: Great class for all! Alternating instructors provide many modifications for postures for beginning and advanced students. This class includes various breathing techniques, an active asana practice, ending in relaxation. With regular practice a student can gain strength, flexibility and a more balanced mind.
Restorative: Intended to bring a state of physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Props are used to support the body in various positions, allowing you to rest completely into gentle poses.
Nia Technique: Combining dance, martial arts, and mindfulness, Nia tones your body while transforming your mind. More than just a workout, Nia is a holistic fitness practice addressing each aspect of your life- body, mind, and soul.
Meditation: Various styles of easy guided meditations offered free of charge!
Please check with your physician if you have health concerns that might limit your practice. For example, spinal fractures, or if you are unable to get up and down off of the floor. The Yoga Room can supply most props needed but please bring a mat and a small towel and any other props you may like to use.
